How Do I Cancel an Item Purchased?
1. Cancellation in Case of Damage
If you receive a damaged or defective product, inform the delivery personnel immediately at the time of delivery.
You must also report the issue by raising a ticket at the Help Center.
The issue will be assessed within 3 days, and a resolution will be provided.
If deemed broken, the product may be returned, replaced, or corrected as per Wood in India's discretion.
2. Cancellation in Case of Wrong Product
If the product does not match your order specifications, report the issue immediately via the Help Center.
3. Cancellation in Case of Change in Requirement / Mind
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order.
- Refund will be initiated to your Wood in India Wallet.
- Cancellation is allowed only if the product is not shipped or in production.
- No cancellations will be accepted after 24 hours.
- Cancellations after 24 hours will be chargeable.
Important Notes
- An unboxing video is required for fragile items in case of damage.
- Contact Customer Care or raise a ticket for assistance.
Return & Replacement Policy
Eligibility for Return or Replacement
Returns or replacements are allowed only if the product is:
- Damaged
- Defective
- Different from what was ordered
The issue must be reported within 3 days of delivery with images or videos.
The return request must be initiated within 7 days from delivery.
Used, modified, assembled, or damaged products are not eligible.
Condition of Product for Return
The product must be unused and include:
- All accessories
- Manuals
- Price tags
- Original packaging
Wood in India may request visual proof or conduct a physical inspection before approval.
Resolution Process & Refund Policy
Upon verification, Wood in India may:
- Repair the affected part
- Replace the product or part
Refunds are generally not applicable. Valid cases are resolved through repair or replacement.
Refund Guidelines (If Applicable)
- Processed after product pickup from the customer.
- Initiated within 2–3 days after warehouse receipt.
- Processed via NEFT, cash, or original payment method.
- No deductions are applied.
Warranty Policy
Warranty Coverage
- 24-month warranty on manufacturing defects.
- Applicable under normal household usage.
- Valid for purchases after 25 February 2023.
- Older products have a 1-year warranty.
Warranty Exclusions
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from improper cleaning, accidents, or impacts
- Incorrect installation or self-assembly
- Improper usage or storage
- Sunlight-related fading
- Water damage or wood decay
- Seasonal wood movement
- Natural wood variations
- Upholstery fabrics (only frame/mechanism covered)
- Use of harsh chemicals
- Size variation up to 2 inches
- Surface unevenness up to 5mm
Warranty Void Conditions
- Relocation from original delivery location
- Unauthorized repairs or modifications
